lol its been 3-4 months since i last log in to post a post...somehow,just lost motivation to blog for the past months,even now had to force myself to come in to update.lol wats happening to me damn

and so..hmm..lets see,tink the closest major event after my previous post(sox cny gathering) will be sab 21st birthday.

basically short and sweet version,was held at her house,buffet etc and emm..oh for me its was a gd chance to catch up with sox since i dun get the chance to meet up with them often,as i get lots of weekend duties etc haiz lol
was a pretty normal bday party,talking crap with each other,eating and just generally enjoying the atmosphere.for more DETAILED post,refer to others blog LOL

eh so..after the bday..which is in may..then..june shld be pretty normal with the exception of me having to miss zhengxi and yongchye bday due to duty,darn i really hate when duty coincide with my frens gatherings/outing/bday/watever.

so back to today,

went to suntec for the World Cyber Game(wcg) Asian finals,this is to determine who will go on to china,Chendu,for the international finals.though it was only a regional final,the atmosphere was still pretty electrifying.The finals dota match which was between vietnam and malaysia drew the most crowd and whenever 1 team perform well,you could hear the spectators cheer as if they won the grandprize themselves :D


anyway,tats all the short update i can remember for this post LOL..hope i get my blogging mood/motivation back again.




WCG Theme song-Beyond the game

lol last post was jan 05 2009,thats like freaking 2 months and 10 days ago.OMG i was missing from my blog for so long.

Ok so anyway,I will try to do a brief recap on what I can recall I did or happen for the past 2 months,10days.

1st was the annual sox cny gathering.Think because due to NS commitments,some of us could not make it,and the whole gather started in the afternoon,while previous years,they started early in the day.

First was at sherilyn house,as was the usual,once we settled down,out came the cards and the money :D anyway i won over there,not alot so its soso =)

went to song house after that and the luck totally did a 180degree reversal.hg,who was unlucky at sherilyn house,tag with song and they won the most at his house.LOL around 100+ if i remember correctly.

My house was 3rd on the list and this time it was mahjong.2 tables was open and just slack there till we were done.

last stop sab house.the girls was playing Wii there and some of us played mahjong.LOL i know whole visiting all gambling,but honestly,only cny will we gamble to this extend.So dont call us addicts :P

Anyway,it was a good chance to catch up,since all of us have NS,Work,Study and so we rarely meet up with one another nowofdays.Thats why these kind of gatherings is so precious.

Apparently from the cny gathering till today,theres nothing else interesting,as i said a 1000000000000 times before, my life consist of go camp,go home,slack,weekend if no duty mahjong sometimes,going for movies if i can managed to find someone to go along with..haiz,i really need more life LOL

short post today,just to fill up the blog to make it look active :D

went for the monthly Istana Change of Guards parade.yea i know,every month i will be there.i used to be in that platoon,so with my friends still there,of cause its a reason to go down every month. :D

met hg for dinner,then we watched bedtime stories.Not a bad show,quite funny and interesting concept.whatever story you create will come true the next day,though maybe not the way you think of lol.

off today so just slack at home.oh well,on a brighter note,9 more months to ORD!!! =)

LOL IM FINALLY BACK

ok,though its been a long time,but i have a perfectly valid reason.Seriously,its valid for why i MIA from this blog for such a long time.Its cause,theres pratically nothing to blog lol,yeap,i know same reason i gave last time and the time before and the time before before,but its true.NSFs DONT HAVE A LIFE :D

lol,anyway,came back to blog cause this past weekend,there were some activites for me.finally huh lol

saturday,attended my cousin wedding,yes they are getting married 1 by 1 every year.this means,every year,my number of red packets increase by 1 ^^ more $$$,greatly appreciated espically in this economic downturn..lol j/k

but still,it was a pretty normal wedding ceremony,nothing unusual,eh the playing of tricks on the groom,the tea serving,the church,the dinner.think thats all,wonder if i missed out on anything.lol

so,met lots of relatives which i have not seen for a super long time,spend some time catching up etc.i love big events :P

sunday,went for Istana change-of guards ceremony.yes i know i go there every month.this month was slightly more special due to 2 reasons,1) 1 of the senior specs,is leaving for another platoon,so this will be his last performance. 2) all of the seniors will be ord-ing after this month,so their last performance too lol. how can i miss it then :D

sometimes i wonder,if i didnt get posted out,how fun and interesting it must be to be performing in front for so many every month....

anyway zouk out,not confirming if i will be going this year,gotta see my friends what are their plans,though according to newspapers,this year bash will be better then the previous years combine lol.shall see how

watched the day the earth stood still today.hmm...the plot was unique,i think,because i never watched a movie in which the alien want to save earth by killing off humans.is there?lol cant remember.right,anyway,but the movie ending was very expected,and i dont know,i guess boring.lol catch it on a weekday.


anyway heard of the book or movie twilight?lol my friends been telling me what a nice book it is + the newspaper reviews and articles,make me go and buy the book on a whim to see what it is about LOL.hope the book dont disappoint me =)

been missing from blogging for a long time after NDP due to a very simple reason.There is nothing,absolutely nothing for me to blog LOL.Basically just doing duty,off at home,doing duty and repeating the whole process all over again.lol

so anyway,last sunday,went down to istana for the COG(change of guards) ceremony.Met up with lots of friends and talk seeing how much things changed LOL.anyway,there was 6 new guys from my batch performing this time,how i really wish i was there.

got lots of pictures so planning to post them next week in order.so can know how the ceremony go :P

went to O bar with hg and his frens/customers on fri night.been a long time since i drank till i vomited lol but i guess i really overdid it that night.hardly stop at all,the drinks just kept on coming LOL.Reminder to self,not to lose self control like that again.

just watched the news,saw this 2LT Kok Khew Fai receiving a medal,SAF medal for distinguished act for shielding a recruit with his body during the live grenade throw.

IMO,he truly deserved that and more.when the recruit drop the grenade behind them,he only had 3-4 secs to react before it will have exploded.

Live Grenade throwing is always a big risk,different from shooting range.the grenade exploding etc,will always be a huge fear no matter you are the one throwing or the conducting,whats worse,the grenade landed just behind him,barely 5m away.I remember my oc saying,you only got to be there once(at the throwing bay once,the officers got to be there for all recruits).

if he was afraid or just froze,the recruit would have been seriously injured or may die from it.whats more,he shield the recruit using his own body,thus putting himself at risk.Its this kind of officers that i respect and will gladly follow their orders,knowing they will put the men before themself.

National day/21bday/spds cohesion

lol supposed to blog earlier but due to time,bad luck with computer being downed,i cld only blog now..lol.


anyway,lets start on national day,the big day where we all have worked so hard for.lol the many months of rehearsals,under the hot sun,the sweat but it was all WORTH it!!!!

though there were 2 major mistakes,some small ones,but at least we knew we tried our best.anyway,1 of the mistake was not out fault,they wired the pyrotechnics wrongly LOL

anyway,it was the most pressuring show,coz it was the actual and it was being broadcasted on channel 5,8,channel newasia,internet etc.lol.


anyway,went there,as usual,went through the usual security checks,the metal detectors the xray of bags etc lol standard airport security :p

and on the actual,there was NO old chang kee van!!!1 noooooo...lol..there was only milo van...oh well,dosent matter anyway,coz none of us was in the mood to eat..lol case of nerves i supposed.

actual crowd really is more active then preview and ne shows,there was lots of more cheering,participation,shouting etc.

so after our performance,we had to stay behind which we didnt mind at all.coz,it gave us the chance to watch the black knights in action!! lol watching from the ground is really different from watching it on television.
(ps: i watched the repeat telecast the next day)

so next day,met up with hong guan,jason,sherilyn,sabrina,yeeteng for dinner,went for swensens at airport.lol hg had a bad experience there,his food took ages to come.

anyway after tat,we went to eh blue oasis if i got the rite name,open 1 bottle,had a few drinks there lol b4 going over to zhong hse to play mj.lol and wat did i see there....HE GOT A PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG im so gonna get 1 too lol

anyway,played 2 rounds and i lost eh...24 bucks oh well it was fun anyway :P

k so tues,supposed to be off,but got guard-of-honor for Australia pm,after that,was our spds cohesion coz most of us will be separated after that.anyway,was bowling at safra yishun,2games, 1 warm up and 1 competition.lol didnt do too well for the warm up,only scoring 113 points.however,the competition was really unexpected,didnt expect myself to score 161 :D:D:D yeap 161 pts,tied for 1st place,among all :P

so anyway,since the other person who scored 161 was my sgt,he said b4 hand thats his not taking the price,it went to me.

after that,didnt know that there was a 3rd game,the top scorer against my pc(platoon commander) LOL

really unexpected. and so didnt bowl so well for the 1st 3 frames,lol lots of pressures and make some mistake compounded on to it.anyway,cant really remb tat score but shld be a diff of 10+ pts,tink is 110+ to 120+.

oh well at kleast it was fun and i got $30 royal sporting hse vouchers for higest score :P

met elenda after tat,watched mummy return..not as nice compared to the previous 2 but it was interesting,lol,jet li seems overpowered,can control elements,change to different form etcs...lol NERF NERF :P


so tml ippt,will be hard to pass considering little training was done LOL shall see how,
